What was your first job? Any interesting memories / Lessons learnt from your first job that you would like to share as inspiration for others:My first job was with Pfizer as a Safety Clinical Data Manager. One memory to share:
I got an opportunity to visit the Pfizer headquarters at Connecticut, USA for a seminar. I traveled alone for the first time in my life. It made it even more special that it was out of India. Everything was well arranged but somehow the cab did not turn up to pick me from JFK Airport in New York. I waited around 1 hour at the airport and eventually booked cab for Connecticut myself. It took me around 3 hours to reach my hotel at Connecticut. To my surprise, the driver was an Indian. We talked about India, Bollywood movies, Indian schooling and all about India throughout the drive. Although I did not put it out, I was terrified about the travel especially since it was my first time. But now when I look back, I smile and pat my back on how I managed everything and kept myself calm!
I have lived and worked in the following cities / countries (I am a global citizen)I was born and brought up in Lucknow - the city of Nawabs. Studied my post-graduation in Mumbai and finally landed in Bangalore where I am working currently.
